What can you tell us about yourself?
That I can’t imagine myself doing something that is not related to my inner creation. So that’s why I decided that my first step, which is my educational background ” Theatre literature” to be a start to what I’m doing right now, assistant directing and acting.
Is it more important to be liked or respected?
To be respected of course! Because simply respect needs effort and responsibility, so no doubt you will be basically loved and liked to be respected.
Which lesson has been the hardest to learn?
I think balancing between when exactly I have to keep fighting for something, and let go of it.
How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
Patient – Dreamer – Realistic.
What’s the best advice that was given to you?
GOOD THINGS TAKES TIME.
What would we be surprised to know about you?
I have a very bad hand writing; I can relate a song to my daily routine actions; sometimes I can be extremely shy and the opposite in the same situation.

What drew you to acting?
Acting will always be a passion, so once I got the offer, I couldn’t say anything but “OF COURSE I’M IN”. Regardless, my fears about the experience or switching career.
How were you offered your first role? And how did u conquer your fears?
It was offered by the director Peter Mimi, and It was a pleasure working him and all the crew actually. Conquer the fear: Is to get your passion and motivation much higher than your fear.
Which of your work did you enjoy the most? And why?
I did enjoy all of them, but I can say, Aly in “Al Ab Al Rohy” because I also, had the challenge of the “S3eedy” accent, which was not easy.
What kind of projects are you interested to do? Any specific genre?
Actor should be interested in mostly everything, but to be specific, I’m interested in performing roles like: extreme villain, historic character, light comedy, and a psychopath.
‘Al Ab Alrohy’ was your acting debut, tell our readers about this experience?
Aly will always be special, because he has much facial expressions, he has to hide most of his feelings, until the moment of revealing. Actually that role was a big challenge for me by all means, so it is the closest to my heart.
Who do you aim to work with? Why?
Kamla abou Zekry and Hany Khalifa, because I know how they will get out the best of me.
If you weren’t an actor, what would you have become?
Psychiatrist.

Actor: Mahmoud Morsy – Director: Atef el Tayeb.
Do you have any projects coming up in Ramadan 2020?
Still in process of deciding and catching the best chance.
