Mercedes‑Benz Egypt announces the upcoming introduction of the new CLA range, including a petrol‑powered CLA alongside the all‑electric CLA 250+ with EQ Technology, marking the arrival of a new generation set to debut soon in the Egyptian market. The new CLA family now offers customers more in every dimension: more space, more refinement, more comfort, more intelligence, and greater efficiency compared to its predecessor. This new generation represents the most technologically advanced vehicle line ever developed by Mercedes‑Benz and marks the beginning of an entirely new family. The lineup is set to offer two powertrain paths: a petrol‑powered CLA and fully electric EQ Technology variants, with the all-electric CLA 250+ leading the family’s debut.
Designed for the electric and digital era, the new CLA introduces a future-focused vehicle family while advancing Mercedes-Benz’s Sensual Purity design philosophy. Its sleek fastback silhouette, long wheelbase, short overhangs, and GT-style rear enhance aerodynamics and emphasize sporty, athletic proportions. A long bonnet and wheels of up to 18 inches further underline its dynamic stance. The new Mercedes-Benz CLA: design and dimensional concept
The new Mercedes-Benz CLA features a sporty shark-nose front with star-inspired LED headlights connected by a light band, creating a distinctive look and enhanced visibility. Frameless doors, a standard panoramic roof, compact mirrors, and flush door handles contribute to both elegance and improved aerodynamics. At the rear, the GT-inspired design is highlighted by star-shaped taillights connected by an illuminated strip with coming-home and leaving-home animations, along with a high-gloss black diffuser and aerodynamic alloy wheels that reinforce its powerful presence. The CLA is approximately four centimetres longer than its predecessor, offering a more spacious interior with increased headroom and legroom for greater passenger comfort.
The all-electric CLA features a new illuminated front panel that reinterprets the classic grille, incorporating 142 chrome-effect stars and the large Mercedes-Benz star, which greets and bids farewell to the driver with animations. Full-LED headlights, connected by a light band, provide a striking appearance day and night. Optional MULTIBEAM LED headlights include star-shaped daytime running lights, while the standard LED High Performance headlights feature the star as a chrome element, emphasizing the model’s distinctive identity.

The new CLA 250+ with EQ Technology offers a rated output of 272 hp and maximum torque of 335 Nm, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 6.7 seconds with a top speed of 210 km/h. It also provides an electric range of 675–792 km, combining performance, efficiency, and cutting-edge electric mobility.
The CLA incorporates advanced Mercedes-Benz safety systems, including LED High Performance headlights, driver-assistance technologies, and a reinforced structure for optimal occupant protection. Additional safety features include a center airbag, Blind Spot Assist, reversing camera, and Brake Assist.
