Sleepless in Egypt
As night falls, Egypt’s scorching sun fades and the heat of the day subsides. For many young Egyptians, everything begins, not ends with sun down. They are struggling with their careers, and are striving to achieve their dreams.
“The main motivation that gives me the capacity to create new songs is that I share real live stories that I encounter on the streets.”
Zap Tharwat, the astonishing rapper and songwriter, is one of the stars of OPPO’s ‘Egypt in Sleepless’ campaign. He has the talent and passion to turn heads in the music industry with his exceptional voice, charisma and his street credibility. It took him long sleepless nights of hard work to achieve where he is today. “I always record my songs at night. Most of the day, I am busy working on the music. And at the end of the day, I start recording. The most interesting aspects of being a singer are song-writing, spending hours in the studio preparing, and of course meeting and talking with people on the street”. He adds, “The main motivation that gives me the capacity to create new songs is that I share real live stories that I encounter on the streets”.
“There is no overnight success for me. Those unaccountable sleepless nights enabled me to be the actress that I am.”
Huda El-Mufti is another star of OPPO’s ‘Egypt in Sleepless’ campaign. The young charming and talented Egyptian model and actress started her professional career as a model after studying theatre. Huda was able to leave a remarkable imprint on the silver screen when she played the role of “Nadine” in Haza El Mesaa series where her amazing acting skills and breathtaking presence boosted her popularity and landed her one of the main roles in Ka’eno Embareh series. It also took her long sleepless nights of training to be where she is today.
“There is no overnight success for me. Those unaccountable sleepless nights enabled me to be the actress who I am.” She adds, “I worked on myself. I stayed up late and tried a lot of things. I landed on my feet in the career of acting and I didn’t and won’t give up until I reach my goals”.
Using OPPO F11 Pro, Batool Al-Daawi, another star of the campaign, has also spent long nights with Zap and Huda capturing their portraits and envisioning their stories while they worked hard to achieve their dreams, using OPPO Batool also roamed the streets of Cairo to capture portraits of those who spend long sleepless nights working on to achieve their dreams.
