Let\u2019s take a look at their most highlighted achievements and see how they pleased us.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Swimming<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Farida Osman<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6640\" src=\"https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Egypts-Bronze-Medalist-Farida-Osman.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"960\" srcset=\"https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Egypts-Bronze-Medalist-Farida-Osman.jpg 720w, https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Egypts-Bronze-Medalist-Farida-Osman-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As July came to an end, various media outlets were praising Egypt\u2019s Farida Osman for her triumph at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships in Gwangju, South Korea. She snatched the bronze of the women\u2019s 50m butterfly final, after a 25.47 second swim.Netherland\u2019s Ranomi Kromowidjojo finished second and gold medalist was Sweden\u2019s Sarah Sjoestroem. Nicknamed \u201cthe golden fish\u201d, Farida thanked her fans in a video message on her Facebook page: \u201cThank you for your messages of support. I\u2019m very happy that I made you and Egypt proud of me.\u201d Two years ago, Farida made us all happy with her bronze at the 2017\u2019s competition in the Hungarian capital, Budapest, where also Sarah was crowned the champion and Ranomi finished second. Regarding her win, the golden fish previously told the International Swimming Federation (FINA): \u201cI am very happy and didn\u2019t expect such a great result; I thought I should swim as fast as I could and see where it would lead me. The Pharaohs\u2019 squad comprised: Abdelrahman Taha, Abdelrahman Hameed, Galal Khorshid, Abdelaziz Ehab, Shehab Abdallah, Hassan Walid, Seif El Deraa, Ahmed Hesham, Ahmed Rady, Hazem Mamdouh, Mohsen Ramadan, Mohamed El Azhary, Omar Khaled, Omar Samy, Khaled Waleed and Yasser Mohamed.The third place playoff took place between the Egyptian and the Portuguese team. The match ended 37-27 in the Pharaohs\u2019 favor. The match ended 3-0 (11-9\/11-6\/11-8). Commenting on the final, the champion said: \u201cIt was heartbreaking playing Jana because she\u2019s a very good friend and it is just so hard to play a close friend when you want to win the title so bad. \u201cThis win is really important for me because I\u2019ve been watching all my favorite players on the PSA Tour and they\u2019ve all won the title at some point.\u201dThe runner-up added: \u201cMy body was a bit sore from yesterday, having played a five-setter semi-final and I probably wasn\u2019t in the best shape.But I think I played good overall until the third game where I gave out too many unforced errors.\u201cBut I\u2019m happy for Hania. It\u2019s her last world juniors and I\u2019m glad she made it while I still have one more year and hopefully I can win it next year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mostafa Asal<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6643\" src=\"https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mostafa-Asal-and-Moustafa-Elsirty-in-the-Final.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"471\" srcset=\"https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mostafa-Asal-and-Moustafa-Elsirty-in-the-Final.jpg 700w, https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Mostafa-Asal-and-Moustafa-Elsirty-in-the-Final-300x202.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On the other side, Mostafa Asal beat his compatriot Moustafa Elsirty in the boys\u2019 individual final by 3-0 (12-10\/11-3\/11-6). Since he also finished first at last year\u2019s edition held in Chennai, India, Asal celebrated his second consecutive world junior title grinning: \u201cIt\u2019s an amazing feeling to win for the second time although I\u2019m happy to return this trophy after a week,\u201cI think it always difficult coming into the junior competition being so high ranked on the PSA Tour. The pace is always different and that was something I had to adapt to this week.<br \/>\n\u201cBut I\u2019m thankful that I was mentally tough today especially in the first game because taking that game was so important for me.\u201d<br \/>\nMeanwhile Elsirty expressed: \u201cI am thankful for a second place finish after finishing third last year. It shows progress in my squash and hopefully I\u2019ll come back and win it next year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Egyptian National Girl\u2019s Squash Team<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6644\" src=\"https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/The-Egyptian-National-Girls-Squash-Team.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"407\" srcset=\"https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/The-Egyptian-National-Girls-Squash-Team.jpg 700w, https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/The-Egyptian-National-Girls-Squash-Team-300x174.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Moving to the girls\u2019 team competition, which ended on the 9th of August, the Egyptian national girl\u2019s team sealed the Pharaoh\u2019s ninth title. The Egyptian 2019\u2019s squad consisted of the following players: Hania, Jana, Farida Mohamed, and Sanaa Ibrahim. Voicing her joy, Farida mentioned: \u201cThis win certainly meant a lot to me. It\u2019s really great that I delivered the winning point because if I had lost, it would have meant more pressure for Jana. \u201cI looked to my team and coaches and I knew they needed me to win and I badly didn\u2019t want to lose too, since it\u2019s my first team event.\u201d Hania also said: \u201cI never wanted to be the reason why the team loses so I went in there and I wanted to push hard for me teammates. \u201cWinning the third game was big for me as it certainly gave me a lot more confidence and I\u2019m really pleased to finish my junior career this way.\u201d It is important to point out that the Egyptian national girl\u2019s team had previously lifted the championship\u2019s trophy in 1999, 2003, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Volleyball<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Egyptian National Volleyball Team<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6645\" src=\"https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Egypt-Finishes-13th-at-the-World-Championship.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Egypt-Finishes-13th-at-the-World-Championship.jpg 900w, https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Egypt-Finishes-13th-at-the-World-Championship-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Egypt-Finishes-13th-at-the-World-Championship-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Also, the Egyptian national volleyball team ended 13th in the overall ranking of the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Men\u2019s U21 World Championship in Bahrain.
