We\u2019re sharing with you some of our favourite healthy recipes, try them out!<\/em><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Chicken and Whole Wheat Spaghetti Recipe<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6500\" src=\"https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Chicken-and-Whole-Wheat-Spaghetti-Recipe-.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"900\" srcset=\"https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Chicken-and-Whole-Wheat-Spaghetti-Recipe-.jpg 600w, https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Chicken-and-Whole-Wheat-Spaghetti-Recipe--200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>1\u00a0lb grape or cherry tomatoes, cut in halves<\/p>\n<p>2\u00a0medium bell peppers, coarsely chopped<\/p>\n<p>2 tbsp\u00a0avocado\u00a0or\u00a0coconut oil<\/p>\n<p>2\u00a0lbs boneless and skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced<\/p>\n<p>2 1\/2 cups water or chicken stock<\/p>\n<p>2 cups Kalamata olives, pitted<\/p>\n<p>1 1\/4 tsp\u00a0salt<\/p>\n<p>Ground black pepper to taste<\/p>\n<p>2\u00a0bay leaves<\/p>\n<p>12 oz\u00a0whole wheat spaghetti<\/p>\n<p>Handful of basil, chopped<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Instructions<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>1- Preheat large deep skillet or a dutch oven on medium heat and swirl oil to coat. Add peppers and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Transfer to a bowl with sliced tomatoes.<\/p>\n<p>2- Return skillet to the stove on medium to high heat and add chicken. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until opaque, stirring occasionally. If any juices appear, don\u2019t drain. Add water or stock, olives, salt, pepper, bay leaves and gently stir. Take a bunch of spaghetti and snap in three adding to the skillet. Give a gentle stir to mix ingredients.<\/p>\n<p>3- Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Remove lid, stir well softened spaghetti with the rest of the ingredients, cover and cook for 5 more minutes. Turn off heat and add previously cooked peppers, tomatoes and basil. Stir and serve hot.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Caprese Zoodles<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6501\" src=\"https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Caprese-Zoodles-.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Caprese-Zoodles-.jpg 2000w, https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Caprese-Zoodles--300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Caprese-Zoodles--768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Caprese-Zoodles--1024x682.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2000px) 100vw, 2000px\" \/><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>4\u00a0large zucchini<\/p>\n<p>2 tbsp\u00a0extra-virgin olive oil<\/p>\n<p>kosher salt<\/p>\n<p>Freshly ground black pepper<\/p>\n<p>2 cup\u00a0cherry tomatoes, halved<\/p>\n<p>1 cup\u00a0mozzarella balls, quartered if large<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 cup\u00a0fresh basil leaves<\/p>\n<p>2 tbsp\u00a0balsamic vinegar<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Instructions<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>1- Using a spiralizer, create zoodles out of zucchini.<\/p>\n<p>2- Add zoodles to a large bowl, toss with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Let marinate for 15 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>3- Add tomatoes, mozzarella and basil to zoodles and toss until combined.<\/p>\n<p>4- Drizzle with balsamic and serve.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Honey Garlic Salmon<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6502\" src=\"https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Honey-Garlic-Salmon-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"900\" srcset=\"https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Honey-Garlic-Salmon-1.jpg 600w, https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Honey-Garlic-Salmon-1-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>2 tbsp\u00a0honey<\/p>\n<p>1 tbsp\u00a0lemon juice<\/p>\n<p>2\u00a0\u2013\u00a03\u00a0large garlic cloves, grated<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 tsp\u00a0salt<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 tsp\u00a0ground black pepper<\/p>\n<p>6\u00a0x 3 oz each salmon fillets, skin on\/off<\/p>\n<p>1\u00a0\u2013\u00a02\u00a0tsp avocado oil<\/p>\n<p>2\u00a0green onions, finely chopped<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Instructions<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>1- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper.<\/p>\n<p>2- Place salmon fillets in a large resealable ziploc bag and pour marinade over. Squeeze as much air out as possible and seal the bag. Gently move fillets around inside the bag to make sure they are all evenly coated. Place flesh side down and let marinate 15 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>3- Preheat large non-stick skillet on low to medium heat and add oil, making sure it coats the bottom of the skillet evenly. Place salmon fillets flesh side down leaving enough space in between them. Cover with a lid and cook for 3 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>4- Remove the lid, cook another minute and flip over. Repeat: cover, cook for 3 minutes, remove the lid and cook for another minute. If your skillet is not large enough, cooking them in two batches. If you over crowd the skillet, cooking time increases by a few minutes for each step.<\/p>\n<p>5- Serve hot garnished with green onions, alongside quinoa and steamed broccoli.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Tuscan Butter Roast Chicken<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6503\" src=\"https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Tuscan-Butter-Roast-Chicken-.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" srcset=\"https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Tuscan-Butter-Roast-Chicken-.jpg 1920w, https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Tuscan-Butter-Roast-Chicken--300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Tuscan-Butter-Roast-Chicken--768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Tuscan-Butter-Roast-Chicken--1024x576.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px\" \/><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>1\u00a0whole chicken<\/p>\n<p>Kosher salt<\/p>\n<p>Freshly ground black pepper<\/p>\n<p>1 lb.\u00a0baby potatoes, halved<\/p>\n<p>1\u00a0large head broccoli, cut into florets<\/p>\n<p>1\u00a0large red onion, cut into wedges<\/p>\n<p>2 cup\u00a0cherry tomatoes<\/p>\n<p>2 tbsp\u00a0extra-virgin olive oil<\/p>\n<p>Pinch red pepper flakes<\/p>\n<p>4 tbsp\u00a0melted butter<\/p>\n<p>3\u00a0cloves garlic, minced<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp\u00a0Italian seasoning<\/p>\n<p>Spinach, for serving<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 cup\u00a0thinly sliced basil<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Instructions<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>1- Place a large skillet in the oven and preheat it to 450\u00b0. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper. Let it sit at room temperature while the oven preheats and you prepare remaining ingredients.<\/p>\n<p>2- In a large bowl, toss together potatoes, broccoli, red onion, cherry tomatoes and oil. Season with salt, pepper and a pinch of red pepper flakes.<\/p>\n<p>3- In a small bowl, combine butter, garlic and Italian seasoning. Brush it all over the chicken.<\/p>\n<p>4- Carefully remove the skillet from the oven and place the chicken in the centre, then scatter vegetables around. Bake until skin is crispy and golden and\u00a0internal temperature of thigh registers 165\u00b0,\u00a0about one hour. Let it rest for 15 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>5- Serve chicken and vegetables over a bed of spinach. Spoon additional pan drippings over, if desired and top with basil.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Garlicky Lemon Mahi-Mahi<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6504\" src=\"https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Garlicky-Lemon-Mahi-Mahi.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"959\" srcset=\"https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Garlicky-Lemon-Mahi-Mahi.jpg 640w, https:\/\/insight-egypt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Garlicky-Lemon-Mahi-Mahi-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>3 tbsp\u00a0butter, divided<\/p>\n<p>2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil, divided<\/p>\n<p>4\u00a0mahi-mahi fillets<\/p>\n<p>Kosher salt<\/p>\n<p>Freshly ground black pepper<\/p>\n<p>1 lb asparagus<\/p>\n<p>3\u00a0cloves garlic, minced<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 tsp\u00a0crushed red pepper flakes<\/p>\n<p>1 lemon, sliced<\/p>\n<p>Zest and juice of 1 lemon<\/p>\n<p>1 tbsp freshly chopped parsley, plus more for garnish<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Instructions<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>1- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon each of butter and\u00a0olive oil. Add mahi-mahi and season with salt and pepper. Cook until golden, 4 to 5 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate.<\/p>\n<p>2- To skillet, add remaining 1 tablespoon of oil. Add asparagus and cook until tender, 2 to 4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and transfer to a plate.<\/p>\n<p>3- To skillet, add remaining\u00a02 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add garlic and red pepper flakes and cook until fragrant, 1 minute, then stir in lemon, zest, juice and\u00a0parsley. Pour dressing over the fruit and lettuce and toss again to combine. Top salad with feta crumbles and toasted walnuts.
