Elsewedy University of Technology (SUTech) \u2013 Polytechnic of Egypt hosted the final round of TechTank competition, where 7 teams presented their innovative projects to a panel of top industry experts. At the end of the event, the winning team was announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The judging panel included prominent figures such as Eng. Ahmed Elsewedy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at SUTech, Ms. Dina Ghabbour, Executive Director of the Ghabbour Foundation for Development, and Eng. Abdallah Sallam, Chairman and CEO of Madinet Masr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Commenting on the event, Eng. Ahmed ElSewedy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Elsewedy University of Technology (SU Tech)\u2014Polytechnic of Egypt stated, \u201cSince the founding of SUTech, our goal has been to prepare students for the job market through hands-on, project-based learning. TechTank was created to discover and support talented students by helping them turn their ideas into real prototypes. Today, we\u2019re excited to award the Team Regen Power Project from Green City International School the prize of EGP 150,000 for their outstanding project in the field of Energy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also praised the students\u2019 impressive level of technical and business understanding, especially considering their young age, and stressed that nurturing creativity at all ages is key to real progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For her part, Mrs. Hanan ElRihany, CEO of ELSEWEDY EDTECH, highlighted that TechTank is a natural extension of SUTech\u2019s mission to empower students and get them ready for the professional world. She emphasized that the competition gave high school students a chance to turn their ideas into real projects and gain hands-on experience. \u201cToday was not just about winning,\u201d she said, \u201cit was about giving students a full learning experience\u2014exposing them to the real-world environment and expert feedback, which can save them years of trial and error.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s worth noting that this initiative aligns with SUTech\u2019s vision of promoting innovation and entrepreneurship by bridging the gap between education and industry. The goal of the competition is to equip students with the skills needed to bring their ideas to life.
