Sarah Taha

She is a mother, dentist and PR woman who started her career as a dentist and an assistant lecturer, but she fell in love with digital media and PR so she started her own business, she opened the first Medical PR agency along with her own blog. With confidence and passion, she proceeds with grace in both fields.

What can you tell us about yourself?

I can say I’m a visionary. I have a vision to make things different and the world different.

Take us through a day in your life.

It usually starts with preparing breakfast for Zein my kid, then take him to school. Afterward, I go to my work, see if there are any events to attend.

What are your priorities in life?

My family, they are number one to me.

Is it more important to be liked or respected?

I think it is more important to be respected, because not everyone will like you, and it’s okay.

Which lesson has been the hardest to learn?

It is okay sometimes to let go of things that are not meant to you. It took me a lot of time to be able to let go and to understand that some things are not meant to exist in our journey.

How do you spend your “me” time?

The perfect “me” time is to wake up late, go to the spa, spend the day with my friends. Traveling is always a “me” time, I really love it.

What are your greatest strengths and weaknesses?

My greatest strength is my family, and they are my greatest weakness too. My son Zein is my life.

Who is your biggest inspiration?

I’m very much inspired by successful women from all over the world, not only Egyptians. I’m very much inspired by Amal Alam Eldin, Victoria Beckham, Princess Diana and her charity work. Meghan Merkel is also from the women who inspire me, people who are different and strong always inspire me that they achieve important things in their life.

How would you describe yourself in 3 words?

Strong, passionate, and confident.

What’s the best advice that was given to you?

It’s okay to be born without talents but with practicing everything is possible.

What would we be surprised to know about you?

You would be very surprised to know that I’m a very shy person.

What is the one thing you are proud of the most in your life and career?

The thing that I’m really proud of is that I left university life as a professor, and I opened my own business.

Did you expect to be a huge success?

I never expected to be a huge success, so thanks to my luck.

What are the key elements to start a successful business?

The key elements to start a successful business is to have people who believe in you, who make you feel that you are capable to do anything and to take steps in your life without fear.

What kind of projects are you interested to do?

I’m interested in all the medical projects, humanitarian projects, charity work. Doctors are humans before anything, this is why we are very deeply touched with that kind of work.

If you weren’t what you are now, what would you have become?

I would have become a lawyer definitely.

What is your golden role to manage the stress you face during your work?

The golden role to manage any stress in my work is that I leave the stress when I leave work. I try not to stress about work all the time, sometimes you just have to let it out your mind in order to go through the day.

Do you regret anything you made in your career?

I don’t regret anything I did in my career or my life. I took this oath when I was young to live a life with no regrets, whatever is done is done. I think thoroughly about everything before taking any decisions, and when I make the decision I never look back.

If you could be remembered for one thing what could it be?

I hope I could be remembered one day as being inspirational for younger generations, and that I actually had an influence on people’s lives, their career, prospects, and perception of life.

What’s next? Short and long-term?

Short term, I hope I can be more successful, have a positive influence in people’s lives in the medical field. Long term, maybe have my own program one day, or doing what I do on a national TV or YouTube.

Yesterday, I said to someone that I’m still in Gouna, while I was in Cairo.

Pizza.

Who or what is your greatest love?
My mother, she is my greatest love ever.

What is on your bucket list?
Travelling the world, especially the places I have in my mind. Doing a Skyfall and dive deep in the ocean with the dolphins.
