Use a Calendar
A calendar is a great way to plan your day. It’s so much easier to schedule your tasks. It can also help you to devote time to different subjects. Easy to use, they can be synced with your computer or your phone without any difficulty. Being organized saves tons of time-consuming distractions.
Lock Yourself In
Get red of any distractions! Turn off social media apps’ alerts, shut the door and get your work done. It’s easier not to lose your train of thoughts when there are no distractions around you. Concentrate on one task at a time. Nothing else should exist. Get completely involved in it.
Use a Checklist
It feels so good to check your tasks off in a list one by one. It also helps you to prioritize your assignments and to know where you’re at. But don’t get overwhelmed by the amount of things you need to get done. Take it one step at a time. And breathe!
Take Frequent Breaks
When we rush from task to task, we get stressed and it gets harder to stay focused. Allow yourself to take small breaks between your tasks. Go for a walk, meditate, watch an episode of your favourite show or any other mind clearing exercise. Your concentration and productivity depend directly on your sleep. You will know if you’re getting enough. Listen to your body and don’t underestimate the value of a good night sleep. Exercising and eating healthily boost energy levels, clear your mind, and allow you to focus easily.
Commit to Your Plan
Don’t flake on your own plan to do something else. Be Committed. Be Professional. Always remember why you started in the first place. Your commitment to your tasks will take you to your goals.
However, you can’t plan for everything. Unforeseen obstacles are bound to pop up, so plan accordingly and be flexible. Just make sure to get back on track as soon as possible and maintain your monthly, weekly and daily schedule.

With a simple time-sheet tracker, you can quickly and easily clock in and out of various tasks or projects throughout the day. Time spent browsing Twitter, gaming or watching TV and movies can be one of the biggest drains on productivity. Don’t allow tasks to take much longer than they should.
Complete the Most Important Task First
The golden rule! In the beginning of each day, identify the most important and urgent task that you have and do it first. Once you’re done, you can move to other things. You’ve finished the essentials!
Get Inspiration When Your Feeling Down
It’s hard to stay on track when you lose that drive inside of you. Find ways you can turn the fire back on by focusing on inspiring content and seeking out others who have achieved big goals. That way, it will be easier to stay on track with your time. Also, find a good mentor that can help you along your path.
