Noha: One random night, I was getting ready to go to a work event and out of nowhere Ahmed surprised me with one hot designer bag. The gift was lovely but the element of surprise was even lovelier!
Noha: I'm the one who starts to make things better as I hate fights and I don't think an argument should take more than a couple of hours in our lives.
Noha: I usually cook but Ahmed likes to do the dishes.
Noha: Valentine's 2010, Ahmed decided to take me out for dinner at a famous hotel. I was pregnant at that time. It took us two hours of traffic to be there and I was starving and started to think about the food more than our date. Little did we know how small the plate portions would be! I ate my entire plate and Ahmed's too and he didn't eat anything. We also ran back home and ordered two large Mc meals.
Noha: One time I was traveling with my father in-law to Venice. He decided to take me shopping and I took him to a very famous shoe-shop, convinced him to buy two pairs that looked gorgeous. However, neither me nor my father in law bothered to look at the price tag and decided to take them. We went to the cashier counter and the lady burst out the price! It was a huge amount of money and he was too embarrassed to change his mind. From that day on we both always look at price tags!
Anniversaries, birthdays and Valentine's.
Noha: It's very hard to make up with him.
Noha: I think the beauty of love resides in the understanding and the ability to live with your other half peacefully. People can think they are in-love but once they live together they discover that their attraction was for the wrong reasons. But once you're married the daily details are the bond that keeps you attached to each other.
Eman: A healthy recipe would be trust, listening to each other carefully, and having fun together.
Eman: Credit card review - my monthly awkward situation.
Eman: My eternity ring; he buys great gifts from Louis Vuitton to Louboutins and diamonds; but that was my most special, though.
Eman: My in-laws are a super cool family, they promised my father - God rest his soul in peace - that they will treat me as a daughter, and they honestly never seized to treat me otherwise. I don't recall other than maybe ordering take out and claiming it's a gourmet dinner that I spent hours preparing - just kidding!
Eman: Selective hearing when he is super busy. It's a talent, I swear... And it drives me nuts... I don't know how he does it... I treat it like it is on purpose - haha rubbing hands... I stop the conversation and repeat... 'Did u hear that?' ' What did I say?'
Eman: Whoever is mistaken usually does that, yet Omar sometimes goes the extra mile because he has a rule not to have us sleep upset at each other; he still has his stubborn moments of expecting a 'genuine' sorry, though.
Eman: Use your imagination...
Both: Love and understanding.
Both: African World Cup 2006, none of us knew the other was going, we met in the same area, and he was sitting two rows behind me! It was a beautiful coincidence and that day we knew we should be together!
Hana: He got me a diamond ring our first new year together; it's not about the ring but the memory is very special to me.
Hana: Nothing, I am the best daughter-in-law ;)
Hana: He never gives me an answer to anything easily! Sometimes I keep pushing for the answer I want as much as I can!
Hana: I used to be the first to make up; naturally I don't like problems and drama! But lately, he takes the first step and ends things fast!
Both: Traveling and going out or changing scenery!
Teach them to be compassionate and to accept and respect others for who they are. They must learn...
