How did you discover your passion for what you do?

I've always had that passion for fashion since I was a little kid. My eyes sparkled every time I watched a movie for my favorite icon Audrey Hepburn or Rita Hayworth. Those movies made me realize how much I love the fashion field.

Where do you dig for inspiration?

Inspiration is all around us; it's just a matter of how we witness things. I am inspired by different cultures and different eras through out the years, and you can clearly see that in my designs along with a modern twist.

Who do you wish to see wearing your designs?

From the Arab world Sherine Abd Elwahab, Nawal el Zoghby and Hilda Khalifa.

What one piece you created is the closet to your heart? And why?

One of my closest pieces to my heart is a modern bridal white cutouts jumpsuit. It took a huge amount of effort but the outcome was totally worth it. Actually I find it a masterpiece.

How can you evaluate the industry in Egypt today?

The fashion industry in Egypt is booming, thanks to the new generation of designers breaking through the industry with a variety of trends, designs and visions.

In your opinion, what are the wardrobe basics every girl should own?

Definitely a Little Black Dress! Mix and match it using different types of accessories and it will give you a whole new look every time.

Are you pleased with what you have reached?

With my three years experience I assume I succeeded to establish a well-known brand that makes me satisfied. But I still have more to achieve and a lot of ideas and designs to execute.

What is your message for those following in your footsteps?

They must be patient and determined while pursuing their dream.

What are your upcoming projects?

My F/W Victorian inspired collection is almost ready. I cannot say more details about it, but I promise you something surprising and different.
